ASHLEY'S GOLDEN BIRTHDAY (3 on the 3rd)!

Ashley turned 3 today...she spent most of yesterday and today with Daddy and Daniel (as Mommy got some much needed girl time)...BUT I got home in time to celebrate with my favorite girl--as she wasn't born until 5:35pm...on 5-3-05! We went to the park (as we walked home, and she was WAY in front of us--so independent already--I wondered where the time had gone?), and then out to a Mexican restaurant (she kept saying that--"We're going to a restaurant!"), and then we hit DQ & brought it home so we'd have time to make cupcakes for her class at church tomorrow morning (which David and I are teaching)! Then we read The Cat in the Hat (Grandma Bobbie would be proud) and Mommy put her to bed, with teeth brushing, more books, a prayer and a back rub (and "lots of kisses"--those are the neck kisses she begs for--that Auntie Jo taught us how to do)! We will celebrate tomorrow, and Monday, and Tuesday...and then her party will be on Friday, May 16 (just too much going on and I wanted to do it up right)! So it'll kind of be like Hanukkah for her birthday, in honor of our Jewish roots! Haha...I'm sleep deprived...can you tell?! More to come...
