Beth Moore Weekend!

We got to see Beth Moore speak this weekend and it was a much needed time spent with God and girl friends! I drove down early with Krista and her friend Amy and we enjoyed dinner at P.F. Changs. Then we got wonderful seats on the floor level, where the rest of my group joined us, to take part in some awesome worship of our Lord...both the singing and the teaching parts! I can't even explain how good this was for my soul, so I won't even try to...but I'm thankful we have a God who knows our hearts and blesses us with times of refreshment, esp after so much pain and sorrow. It's been a month since Don died...sometimes it feels like it's been so much longer and other times I still expect him to answer the phone ("What are you up to Pa?" "Oh, about 5'4"!" -- in his dreams!). Anyway...it was a much needed time, spent with ladies that I've studied the Bible with...esp talking with DeAndrea until 1:40 in the morning and then with her and Lori, on our ride home from Colorado Springs...which the setting, by the way, couldn't have been more beautiful, as you can see in this picture of the sun rising over the mountains! We had such a wonderful time. PRAISE GOD, for he is an awesome God! Christy, Lori, DeAndrea, Melissa, Me & Sheila
